Alejandro Rosales Mayr
Senior Director
Alejandro Rosales Mayr is a Senior Director at Frontera Capital Advisors, a Miami-based advisory firm serving U.S. corporates, private equity firms, and financial institutions active across Latin America. He leads client strategy and business development, advising on M&A, capital raising, and restructuring transactions.
Alejandro brings 17 years of experience connecting global capital to opportunities in Latin America. He began his finance career in Goldman Sachs’ LatAm & Sovereigns Credit Risk group, later holding senior roles at UBS, Santander, and Cambridge Associates. At UBS Asset Management, he worked closely with institutional investors and helped launch one of Brazil’s first global equity feeder funds in partnership with BB DTVM and local pensions. At Santander, he advised U.S. asset managers, multilaterals, and Latin American banks as a senior banker covering financial institutions. At Cambridge Associates, he was an Investment Director in the OCIO group, advising endowments and foundations. Most recently, he focused on infrastructure and energy transition opportunities at LARA Fund, a Latin America-focused private equity firm.
Earlier in his career, Alejandro worked with Oxfam on economic development and humanitarian projects across the U.S. and Central America. He has served on nonprofit and alumni boards and was elected Trustee of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson, New York.
He began his academic studies at Los Angeles Pierce College, earned a B.A. from UCLA, and holds a master’s from Columbia University with a concentration in international finance and policy. He is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
