Fernando J. Mendez is an Associate at Frontera Capital Advisors, LLC. He performs complex financial, strategic and market analyses for clients across a variety of industries throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.​

Prior to joining Frontera, Mr. Mendez’s relevant experience included work at international investment management and corporate finance advisory firms. He assisted in the consolidation of financial statements and completion of financial models for M&A transactions, as well as the preparation of marketing materials and completion of due diligence for potential private equity co-investment deals.​

Mr. Mendez graduated from Vanderbilt University with a B.S. double major in Economics and Cognitive Studies and double minors in Business and Computer Science. He also received his Master’s in Finance from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management. He currently resides in Miami and is fluent in Spanish.​
