Yamir Hickey Morales is a Senior Associate at Frontera Capital Advisors, LLC. He provides comprehensive strategic and financial analysis on complex client engagements throughout Latin American and Caribbean. He has significant experience advising both private and public sector clients throughout the region, specializing in financial planning and reporting, restructuring, and operational turnarounds.

Prior to joining Frontera, Mr. Hickey Morales was a Senior Associate at the Puerto Rico Financial Oversight and Management Board (FOMB). While there, he led the development and certification of fiscal plans and budgets for numerous major public agencies. He has significant experience developing reporting procedures and operational restructuring initiatives for companies operating within distressed economic environments. Additionally, Mr. Hickey Morales has advised Puerto Rico’s largest financial institutions on matters in the insurance and reinsurance sectors.

Mr. Hickey Morales has a Masters in Economics and Business Administration from the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona, specializing in Public Policy. He holds a B.A. in Finance from the University of Puerto Rico. Mr. Hickey Morales is fluent in Spanish, and resides in Miami, Florida.
