Christopher Hernandez is a manager at Frontera Capital Advisors, LLC. He specializes in assessing and evaluating IT environments, processes, and risks. Mr. Hernandez has advised leading clients, including Fortune 500 companies, in the technology, hospitality, retail, and banking industries.
He has significant professional experience in evaluating business processes, internal control risk management, IT controls, and related regulatory and compliance standards. He has executed audit assurance activities (operational, compliance, IT and SOX), advising clients on strategic plans and other business matters. Mr. Hernandez’s experience also includes developing sustainable IT control environments for companies, as well as performing assessments of intellectual property governance, data and privacy, system implementations, fraud investigations and Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for various technology implementations (e.g. SAP, Oracle Cloud, Workday).
Mr. Hernandez holds a Bachelor of Science in Information System Audit & Control and a Master of Science in Accounting from Bentley University. He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor and a member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).
He is a member of the Bentley University Alumni Association and the Belen Jesuit Alumni Association.
